Just fitting a new shower tray etc, and I was going to use silicone, but have taken the revolutionary and unprecedented step of reading the instructions... and this is specified.

The only thing I can figure out is that this kind (probably) doesn't smell of vinegar.

But could somebody point me at a suitable (white) product on Screwfix please?

Thanks :notworthy:

I can't post links but - you need a Neutral Curing silicone - it doesn't smell of vinegar and to use an analogy, the acetoxy stuff on plastic is like a Tinker's soldering. Where the NC stuff is like a coded weld ;)

Thanks - yeah, I kind of worked out the "neutral curing" bit as being equivalent to non-acetoxy, but I can't find anything of that description on Screwfix.

Maybe I'll have to visit a plumber's merchant or something

AAAAAAAaahhhhhh found this one by accident

Guess that's the right kind...
