Just finished walk in shower. The instructions say to use silicone sealant down outside edges of the frame and the outside bottom of the glass where it meets the tray. From the inside of the shower the frame doesn't sit perfectly flat on the wall in a couple of places so I guess water could get down the gaps. What's the best practice for this?

Also what colour silicone is wise to use? White or clear?

Tiles are travertine with cream grout.

Thanks

Apply a bead of silicone to the back of the frame before fixing to the wall. Tighten it up and wipe off any excess that squeezes out. I would be inclined to use clear sealant.
