Starting off by saying thank you to any responses.
My grandmother passed away this week, and her house is left empty. She has an old Brinks system which has been disabled for quite a while. After reading a lot of posts on here, I can only assume that it has been disabled for stand-alone use by Brinks. I managed to find a way around this problem by by passing the use of the keypad at all. My problem is that it is an incredibly old system, and the motion detector is not working. I'm not sure how to find a definitive answer to what model of Scantronic alarm she had, nor how to properly wire it (The cover to the wiring panel is nowhere to be found.) I think if i could find out what model the Scantronic alarm is,...and find a wiring diagram for the panel, I think I could better trouble shoot why the motion detector is not working,...thank you once again for any help.
