Noob radiator question

Hi all,

I have an old isolation valve in place and a contemporary rad. I need to marry the external thread to the internal thread rad as shown.

What is the right type of coupler to use?
Am I better off just fitting new isolation valves?
If I use the existing valve does it need an olive?

You need a 1/2 X 3/4 nut rad tail and they come with the valve.
Just get some new rad valves make it look tidy.
