Not Enough Females?

So far this year the male frogs have drowned 30 or so females. Now they're trying it on with my fish!

I spotted this one before any long term damage was done.

well at least you have lots of frogs, we have only had 1 pair this year

Now that is an easy way to cross a pond

No shortage of frogs and toads this year breezer, just females. I've got plenty of toad spawn but because the male frogs drowned so many of the females there's not much frog spawn.

I don't thing the snow helped either.
