Nu-way Boxer burner intermittently switching off

The burner and boiler are very old and have not been serviced for a while. If it is just a service problem, I would like to service it myself if I could get some helpful advice from a web site or expert out there.

i hate nu way burners..that tiny, tiny tiny, tiny, tiny, frekkin bundy tube nut ...that rounds off..... makes you wonder what those pencil pushers in the design office were smokin'
