White always goes ok with oak, but if you prefer oak instead of having
a solid oak frame say at 95x35, all you need to do is get 45x12 oak and
make a 45x12 rebate out of a 95x35 pine frame, then glue and pin in your oak insert. by the time you put on your oak door stops and facings you dont see any pine. It maybe sounds alot of work but its not really for the finish you can achieve.
