oak worktop wanted

Hi,
I'm looking for an oak worktop for my kitchen, & would like to find someone relatively near where I live who makes them. I'd really like a worktop that is from sustainable sources & has wide staves, rather than the narrow stave worktops that you can get off the shelf.

I've found a couple of great looking timber merchants / worktop manufacturers on the internet but they all are hundreds of miles away from where I am in Oxford. Does anyone know of a timber merchant or manufacturer a bit closer to Oxford?

I've had wide, long stave ones made by South London Hardwoods, they will be able to have them delivered to you. Expect them to cost a lot more than the off the shelf ones, about £250 per meter run.

British Hardwoods also do them and deliver nationally.
