Hi fellas

I wonder if one of you esteemed gentlemen could help me.

I got a call out today for no hot water on a direct cylinder. There was one of these on the fuse board. I'm thinking this is the problem, when I spun the timer the immersion came on.

How are they supposed to work, do you set them to the correct time and they rotate and flick on by thereselves when the power is required ? ( how do you set the times ?)

Do these fail ?

I've told them to call a spark but want to check it's not something simple and that it's set up correctly

Many thanks

Set On times by flicking the blue tabs to the right and off times to the left.

Check if it actually moves or is stuck in a set position?
