Official: Brexit is not happening

Effing Buffoon.

"On Tuesday night, Boris Johnson looked like he was finally beginning to make serious progress implementing his plan for Brexit. The PM had managed to confound the cynics by getting a Brexit treaty agreed with the EU at lightning speed. Mr Johnson's deal then received support in principle from MPs, passing at second reading in the Commons by a larger margin than had been expected.

True, he was not going to achieve his pledge to take Britain out of the EU by October 31. But Mr Johnson seemed to be making progress all the same. It looked perfectly possible that Brexit could happen by Christmas, after several weeks of parliamentary scrutiny of his deal.

Now Mr Johnson has transformed what appeared a positive situation into a complete fiasco. Last night he declared that his prime objective was not completing Brexit but holding a general election on December 12. He insisted that Labour must agree to holding an election on that date — otherwise he won’t be bringing his Brexit legislation back to the Commons for scrutiny. And he capped that threat with one more: if Labour refuses to accede to his demand, then the government will go on strike.

The PM has already decided to scrap the Budget on November 6. Now he is saying that if Jeremy Corbyn won’t agree to an election, he won’t bring any of his domestic legislation to the Commons (even though the Queen’s Speech vote passed by a comfortable margin last night). Instead, ministers will start behaving like militant students, actively blocking the work of the Commons until they get the general election they desire."

OK dum, have it your way. You're leaving the EU on 31st October.

Where will you be going?

Where will you be going?
DP will likely go on EU strike. He will refuse to eat any EU food and refuse to use any EU supplied energy. He will refuse to use any products that fall under EU regulations scrutiny. DP will change his name to Swampy II and wave banners and make animal noises whilst perched in a tree outside Westminster, as long as that tree is an English species.

Honestly what a load of w@nk.

Blame the the whole house I'm sorry they all need removing. Boris having a strop whilst the other 'leaders' are desperate to discredit everything he does until GE polls indicate it's a green light to strike.

Meanwhile we all suffer as a nation. Such selfish political suicide.

Could drag on till 2021

This brexit caper could well be the best thing that has happened to the UK
An education to all on democracy

31st berk o will be out

Come the next extension date there will be another one after that

In 2132, the EU will be wondering where that quaint British annual custom called 'The Extension Request' originated. No-one will know. It will be another of those, 'we've always done it this way' things.
