I'll assume, after the stabbing, that there may be a good chance he was a battered 'husband'. But that doesn't happen to men, so he probably stuck it through for quite a while.

Being attacked by someone you love with a knife is no joke. He did right. Obviously if he'd whipped the kids out with him for their safety the full weight of the law would have come down on him faster than you can say alimony, and the kids returned to the caring mother (fathers can't care, apparently).

According to some he's damned as he left, and would've been damned no doubt if he stayed to be murdered in his sleep.

She lost her grip on reality, sadly, as someone here has.

It seems now that the poor girl actually stabbed the feckless bstrd the night before the tragedy.
He knew what state of mind she was in, he's even quoted as saying this...

‘I found out this morning when I got a phone call saying somebody had committed suicide and I had a feeling who it was.’

Yet he still left those babies there, he really cared didn't he?
Does anyone else want to argue that he shouldn't share at least some of the blame?
IMHO most of it, not that he'll give a toss when the publicity has died down.

The Police were called because of an alleged stabbing and then sent away.( A none incident)
, if he was the feckless bstrd that you say, he could have told the Police then that he had been stabbed, she would have been arrested and charged with attempted murder, the children removed and put in care straight away.

He chose not to, but assured by her text messages that she would not harm the children, he left the property to let her calm down.
IMO he did the right thing.

What happened afterwards says otherwise.

Yes. This reminded me that I still haven't made up my mind whether to be buried or cremated when my time is up.

I did think about selling my body for medical research - they'd have a field day - but I don't think anyone would pay me for it. Sad. Think of all the spare parts they could use.
