I havenever understood the qualification route to become a Dr in our country. If someone hasn't quite got the grades they will not be allowed into medical school to study, yet we import Drs from all over the world where most of them wouldn't meet our criteria for entry into our medical schools. Some from places where even a pen and paper is considered a luxury item but yet turn out good Drs.

Do you think there's no vetting process and they can enter the country and work in the NHS without having gone though any checks?
