No. You don't need one to less a boiler either. :rolleyes:

But you do need to tell building control, and get them to inspect it.

Can u install a oil boiler but can only be commissioned by a OFTEC engerneer. That was my understanding of it anyway.

It can be commissioned by anyone with a meter, and then get BC to sign the paper.

But then you move it, get BC to sign paper, then get someone to service it and it will be set up as part of the service. This commissioning is for new install situations.
