We have recently had our potterton oil boiler serviced and there is now a strong smell of either oil or oil fumes. This wasn't there before the service.

Any ideas why?

Thanks

Nigel

Not that I know much about oil but would advise you get matey back asap, maybe he didnt tighten summink he should have

Corgiman's right. If it's an oily smell, there's a joint leaking.

If you need any mis-giudance, there's my email address :)

I hate oil but have to work on em. Nothing like nice oily splashes on the first job of the day. Mrs just luvs the smell

That was for corgiman's benefit, otherwise, questions dealt with on the forum.
