Oil or similar to refresh bridge over stream

We've 4 bridges like this over a stream at back of our house. All have chicken wire on for gripping that we'd like to leave in place.

Looking for recommendations for someone to freshen up the bridges ideally with a light stain. The do get a decent amount of wear from us.

Prefer to spray if possible

Ideas appreciated!

I wouldn't use anything with an oil base, just in case it were to get into the stream.

Thanks I will be protecting the whole area before applying anything so oil based will be fine

I wasn't just thinking of while you are doing the job, it could leach over time.
