Hi and happy new year Oilman,

My GF has a Rayburn Royal range type thingy.Oil buner.
Hot water works fine ,but, cooker side is not connected up- is this normal on these old jobbies?
She has been told by maintenance man, that if both are connected it doesn't work correctly.
Over to you for comments / actions.
Only number on the can was 501.
She reckons it's very old, no show on Rayburn site.

TIA

It might be an OF22. Some did work, some didn't. It's down to the flue, air supply, luck, setting up etc. I would disable the heating side and just run the cooker, but then again......

Thanks for that. GF has already considered option of using cooker side only, as there is an immersion heater and the rayburn only runs a towel rail, not actual central heating,Brr!
