I need to drain my central heating down to replace and move a couple of rads. My heating hasn't been serviced for the 7 years I've been in the house although my back boiler is done annually.

I am getting a high pitched whining noise ( like a vibration) from the back boiler, when the heating has been on for some time. Reading some of the posts, it seems that I may need to flush the system and put inhibitor in.

My Question is can you recommend what to use. I was thinking, drain down, refill with Fernox Restore, Run for a week. drain down and refill with Fernox Inhibitor. Does this sound ok.
