Can any one help? I've got an old concord wrs boiler. Since it was turned off due to gas works up to property it would not relight. When it was finaly relit it now cuts the the flame in and out, more freqently the higher the stat turned up. The repair to mains has been checked and gas pressure apparently ok any ideas other than replace it?

Could you clarify these two conflicting statements?

it now cuts the the flame in and out, more freqently the higher the stat turned up.
The pilot, or the main burner?

Why not repair it?

It's supposed to cut the flame in and out as it gets up to temperature.

pilot now stays lit but the main burner cuts in and out about every 30secs. Been told it's kettling.
