Old fuse.

I handled this stuff all the time.

And old storage heaters dating from the 60s and early 70s. Used to dismantle them, and cart them off.

But if 10 years is the rule, I think I've got away with it.
 
Oh goody, so the ancient Prento ceramic fuses in my shed have asbestos behind them? Might make it's replacement or the possibility of a fuse going before that more "interesting" than I hoped.

It has a slightly newer 30A fuse and 30mA RCD upstream so this fusebox is secondary anyway.
 
I was working for a company that tests and completes EICR reports for Thames water in 2023 and we found asbestos, the guy i was working with didn't even bother reporting it to their health and safety guy as it was "too much hassle" I left a month later.
