Old nec phone

I have one of these at home,for a laugh, is there anyway to get it to work nowadays.

I presume it is an analogue mobile? I think the networks for these have been closed down now.

I got an Ericsson analogue mobile in 1995, very neat little phone. they carried on the same external design in several later digital versions.

In those days the battery lasted about 6-7 hours (less than a working day) and much less if you actually used it

does the manual say whether it is an analog phone or a GSM phone?

If it is an analog phone then I don't think you have a chance. If it is a GSM phone then you should just be able to stick a sim in and go (note though that a lot of older GSM phones are single band only so you may be restricted in your choice of networks).

Lost the manual years ago, dont think it ever took a sim card.
Might open it up and look inside though.
