My cast iron soil stack has 2 holes in it - one accepts 32mm pipe and the other 40mm.

The waste pipe is joined to the soil stack by a compression-type fixing.

I have bought some new waste pipe but there is a problem - the pipe can be pulled-out of the soil stack holes.

On inspecting the old waste pipe there is a flange where it joints the soil stack which prevents it being pulled-out of the compression fitting.

Does anyone know where I can buy an equivalent to the old pipe?

Many thanks

The "flange" must be the original "olive"(compression ring) on the pipe ..can you post a pic. :?:

Why not just join the new pipe to a short stub of the old pipe using a compression (multi-fit) fitting?

Or update the whole stack adding a nice rodding eye in the bottom of the stack - unless it goes straight into a man'ol
