Old router line

Hi there, basically a few months ago I switched from Talktalk to Virgin Media.

A brand new installation happened and a new master socket got installed.

My previous suppliers master socket & line is still there?

Should I disassemble the master socket and take off the line? Would the line be live most likely?

The old master socket is the property of Openreach. Just leave it - if you ever decide you've had enough of Virgin media's "support" you might need it again.
