old sink fittings

installing 1950s sink .have brackets but cannot workout how the brackets hold the sink in place , are there some rubbers feet missing that fit into the sink , and brackets attach to this? thanks in advance

originally putty was placed on the front of the brackets and the basin bedded into it, you could either use putty or plumbers mait if basin has screw holes fit basin to wall if not use silicone along the back before you fit it to the wall then run a bead of silicone along the top edge, it will never move
