old steel rad for a new convector style which one

So i am decorating my lounge and at the moment the radiator thats fitted now is a old steel double 1200 x 600 it looks like it painted that many times the finish is now like crazy paving.

Im looking at replacing it with something newer .what would be my best option either a double panel double convector , or a double panel single convector. Also would be putting a TRV on there aswell

i would be looking for something with the same heat output as i already have.

Would a double panel single convector give me the same heat output as the old steel one i have now or more ? as i realise the double panel double convector is wider in depth .
