Does anyone know what you call this style of toilet?

The trap is internal and feeds straight down into the floor. I'm not sure you'd call it an S-trap, it doesn't come out of the back at all. There are no markings except "Made in England".

Thanks to anyone who can enlighten me.

It is an S trap as it goes down through the floor (in the shape of an S).
Take a picture looking down inside it  Flush it first

Nice one :!: -need to see in the bowl -it might be a washout type  Have you got the high level cistern too.-I want one for my house

@Nige Yes we have a wooden high level cistern with it. Excellent bit of kit even after all this time.

For those interested it turns out that this is style of toilet is called a "London trap".

yes they used to be lead lined, some posh ones used to be copper or brass if you were filthy rich.

look after an old manor with a few,the baths have the old lever style wastes,(original pop up wastes)

The Feuars Arms pub in Kirkcaldy has a 19th century glass cistern with lead sparge pipes. Beautiful workmanship. Many moons ago, as plumbing apprentices we were asked to leave the establishment. The landlord didn't believe that we were admiring the plumbing. . . :)

Did you tell him you wanted some like it in your cottage
