OMG my massive European tour starts in less than two weeks time

I have just received an email from the captain of our cruise liner, he has invited Lena and I to join him for dinner at his table. I cannot believe the cheek of the man thinking we havent got a table ourselves. I have just emailed him back to refuse the invite and told him that we have our own table thank you very much and explained that we are in a suite. I said he would be welcome to come and say hi at our table and get a photo so he can show his friends. I await his response !!!!!
The captain wanted to sit on my table at dinner on one cruise I was on. I told him, I don't have lunch with the bus driver when I use public transport so no thank you, just get back on the bridge and keep this ship on course.

Absolutely, they get carried away with themselves. I have sent a list of requirements including at what times I will be on our private deck for our suite. I insist not to rev the engines at these times and not to announce when we are arriving in ports etc. I think we are quite capable of knowing that without him screeching through a megaphone at us.

Oh well I am off to bed to dream about my amazing cruise in my suite,,,

Suite? You kept that quiet….

We went on a Caribbean cruise once, our other friends joined us and then six weeks before the cruise another couple of friends decided joined us. They got a bloody suite for exactly the same price we paid for an extended balcony cabin. They got canapés every night but we only got them twice a week. They got a butler/gofer who booked everything for them and the suite passengers had their own breakfast room in the 17th floor. Luckily for us, they weren’t breakfast people so us and the other couple alternated, using their cabin card for breakfast. Confused the hell out of the waiting staff when mr and Mrs Gowers changed appearance every other day. :ROFLMAO:

Will you have wi fi in your suite?

BTW, an ellipsis is 3 dots, not 3 commas ...
There's no such grammatical punctuation, need, or use, as 3 commas, except in cases of sentences like this one. (four actually) :giggle:

It’s great. We have a personal shopper who will be with us at each port. Private restaurants and our own deck. Little Philippines people running after us night and day who will be very well tipped by us. Type of guy I am. Just great and amazing. Enough about me though I am a very private person.
