Hopefully you've figured this out by now, but the DID is the code you need to enter to get access to your camera. Depending what system you have, it is either on the camera itself or on the back of the display screen. You may also need the security code for which the default is usually 123456. You should also find these somewhere in the settings accessed from the display screen. The DID looks something like ABCD-000123-VWXYZ. If you get the App to scan, it should show the available DIDs and then you just need to select it and enter the security code.
