omnicalculator: tells you when you will get the vaccine

Another move of the date.
Given a vaccination rate of 3,107,602 a week and an uptake of 70.6%, you should expect to receive your first dose of vaccine between 26/03/2021 and 07/04/2021.

The site said mid Feb for me, I actually had the jab last Wednesday, so around two weeks early - but Yorkshire is generally ahead with injections anyway.

Find a UK bonfire and you can be sure that JohnD will do his best to p iss on it. No surprises there. u
Matt Hancock did say that achieving the target was dependent on the supply of vaccines.
You can't simply ignore such critical dependencies.

True. But then again you don’t start rubbing your hands with glee waiting for it to happen either!

You also can’t simply ignore the fantastic success rate of the UK vaccination programme but some on here do.

You're reading your own interpretation into people's posts, and arriving at an incorrect conclusion.
It's usually described as 2 +2 = 5

It is called" past behaviour is a good indicator of future behaviour""or " you have form"...Robbo.You are jumping on the bandwagon of pull the UK to bits constantly.

And when someone on here repeats his "pointing out the obvious", with some realistic explanations, they are accused of all sorts of egregious motives.

I am described as 'chronic' and being managed mostly with phone calls - am I complaining? No I am absolutely not. I understand the difficulties and accept they are doing their best in very difficult circumstances.

Too bad.
You should be complaining. If like me you have paid tons of tax in a lifetime, the nhs should and must serve you properly, not over the phone.
In the name of the Covis, the Vaccine and the Holy Lockdown...

Why? I accept there is a problem and I cut them some slack. The are looking after me just fine in the circumstances.

If you're happy that's fine for you.
But as they have happy feedbacks from you and others who "accept" the alternative care, then the ones who still need face to face care will be told "NO, it works for others and they're happy, so shut up and die"
Similarly to the mugs who are on a 35 hours contract and clock 80/100 hours a week without any regards for people who have lost everything fighting for workers rights.
So the employers say "Well, it's ok for Mr X to stay behind everyday and then work from home at weekends, so it must be ok for you or that's the door".

As it is, I leave more intensive care for others, in greater need of it than me. If I needed more, I would apply pressure to get more adequate care - why squander resources I am not in need of at the moment?
