One socket keeps tripping fuse

Hello,

I have an issue that's recently developed, i have a double socket in the kitchen one on the left works fine no problems but if you plug any device into the one on the right and switch it on there's a flash and then it trips out the fuse in the fusebox however the fuse in the device is fine and continues to work without the need to change when plugged into the one on the left.

any ideas please ? it's just this one socket all others work fine.

I expect that the socket has become overheated on one side and there is now an internal fault.
Go buy a new socket and fit it.
