Open therm and weather compensation differences

Hi I just wondered if a boiler has the option of both which one would be the preferred option and why ?

small 2 bed upstairs flat with plenty of insulation in attic above and the walls, thermostat running at 19.5c on an ideal logic esp1 with weather compensation fitted atm

Then the weather comp is probably suitable, unless they don't know how to use the system and have complaints about warm up times.

Oh, I see.

Has the heating come on yet at all? If so, I'd just be interested what sort of flow temperatures you've been getting.

Got it set for 20°c for now till I read up more on it

Is occupancy changeable. WC is best with two temperatures not on/off which leads to longer reheat times die to lower flow temperatures. A comfort (e.g. 20°C for example) and a setback around 4-5°C lower to even out swings especially if not we'll insulated.

OT will give more than one temp and can be more flexible with timings.
