If fitting a new boiler what are the options for opentherm thermostat. Which is the best one to get and the reasons. Boiler would be ideal logic or vogue

No specific “best” one, as everyone’s opinions will differ, but EPH Combi pack 4 gets notable mentions.

Yes, that's the whole point of OpenTherm, it's a common modulating control language. Mind you, the modulation on a Logic is rubbish so it'll still cycle a lot in most applications

Do Ideal make their own thermostats with OpenTherm. Are they any good. Bet they're pricey.

Vogue's modulation is a bit better, but there are better boilers out there.
