Hi all,
I am redoing my bathroom ( finances dictate I do it myself sadly) I have a week off (but wil be able do stuff before that week) and i will probably have about 3 days when my other half is away.
The jobs i need to do are
remove the existing cladding ( which the shower enclosure is attached to)
swap out the old shower unit
replace with a bath
replace loo
replace sink unit
relocate radiator
fit new cladding
fit rigid core vinyl
fit ceiling

So my theory was

In advance I could
remove the cladding but leave the area around the shower intact.
fitting some of the flooring in to order
relocate the radiator
replace
remove shower
fit cladding
fit flooring
fit bath
remove loo
fit last cladding section
fit last flooring
fit loo
fit ceiling

Not ideal but does it sound logical

Thanks in advance

It might be hard to get it right that way, if you're DIY'ing. You could do it but it could end up looking a little patchwork. The best way to do a full refurb is clear back to bare. Do any required first fixes, then do the walls and ceiling, floor, then go onto 2nd fix and then finishes.

Rip everything out
Alter pipe work
Repair and prep walls and floor
Fit bath and shower tray
Clad the walls
Fit flooring
Fit toilet, basin, rad, and other stuff
Silicone up

Baths n gas
In an i deal world i would do that but then then leaves us without loo, bath, shower for quite a few days
But it does give me the basic order.
Thanks

Obviously you put the toilet back in/work round it, so you always have a working toilet that’s what I do on jobs, 2-3 day without having a bath/shower and having to either have a strip wash or going to a relatives house, is worth it for a proper finish
