Ordering staircase query.

I need to order a new staircase but I'm unsure what considerations i to take account for.
I'm fitting a new stairwell that has to be fire reg 30 mins. Do i line the new stairwell in fire boarding then fit the staircase or fit the staircase then board it?
The difference is 25mm and will effect the staircase width when i order.

You need to get timber - timber connections when you fit your stair components into the new structural opening so fit the plasterboard afterwards. Any fire proofing boards will meet other fire proofing ceiling boards or floor boards etc at floors or other junctions and complete the protection.
