Hi,
I couldnt find an answer to this problem after searching...
I'm working with engineered oak flooring and I applied 'Osmo Polyx clear matt - rapid' without as much thought as I should have in one area of a floor covering about 8m2. It wasnt worked in enough and now looks thick and shiny and is very waxy and slippery to walk on - this area has had three coats (yes, I know it shouldn't have more than two) . In another area where it was applied more thinly only twice an even matt surface can be seen and it isnt shiny.
My thoughts are to sand down and start again. Does anyone have any experinece of this problem? I just found comments that alluded to the fact that it is a difficult issue to remedy.
Thanks in advance for any specific help or advice!
