car reversing lights aren't what they were.

Many have down graded 21W bulbs to 16W bulbs and with small windows in the lens.

They do sell plug is replacement capless bulbs in the 21W version, which maybe an easy option.

As for the house, well you could fit one of those fashionable up and down spot lights, but horizontally, to light up the brick work under the window, if that is the problem. It won't glare you when reversing, but will make the brickwork visible.

I have smart sockets bulbs etc, for my outside lights, so my wife can turn on the light with her phone before reversing down the drive, but she had a problem with lights too bright and reflections on her reversing camera, so needed to use a smart bulb to turn down the light level so it did not reflect.

The PIR will pick up a hot radiator, but since the boot is opposite end of car to engine, reversing in so less distance to carry shopping, means the PIR does not work.

The smart bulb can be switched on/off with phone, and voice commands (Alexa or Nest speakers) and can also be timed, so it is timed three days a week for the milkman for example.

Many thanks for the reply well pointed the glare issue since she has updated her needs to light up most of the brick laid area for me to
Avoid bickering am thinking to put either one 20w or 2x10w flood lights on Marshalite bricks on the right hand side facing the house
Your thoughts I have attached new photo thanks again
