Outbuilding Planning

I can't recommend any software, but there are several free ones available - even AutoCad has a free version now.

But the learning curve, and the setting up of a template and all that, would probably mean that for two square sheds, you might as well draw them on paper. You don't need a lot of detail for a planning application.

Do some research on permitted development criteria, and see if you can make your sheds conform to that. But, don't compromise unnecessarily. If you want bigger sheds, and they won't affect anyone else, then don't be afraid of putting in a full planning application

Thank you for that woody. I will keep the eaves height and pitch height to that, that is permitted just worried if it will get rejected based on the length.

If you conform to the permitted development criteria, then it can't get rejected because you dont have to apply for anything.

If you apply then you dont need to conform to the permitted development criteria and apply for whatever sizes you want.

If I keep to the height and in regards to width can that be whatever size I require? I am happy with the permitted height.
