Outdoor Patio Lights - SWA Cable

I have used a conduit Y box inside some garden lights before, but your lights have no space for that.

Different lights is the only option...I think.

No room here for a couple of those CET glands?
I was trying a few things and thought of just using a jubilee clip but I'd have to be very careful not to crush the cable and the SW into the insulation. Your suggestion solves this issue perfectly though and is definitely the one to go with - thanks so much (y)

This page goes into some more detail about how they're used with street lighting posts so there really isn't anything wrong with what I'm doing, especially as it's low voltage:

I have used a number of them for glass fibre or other forms of insulated control panels when used outdoors and found them to be very effective.

Of course the gland is strictly speaking not essential, this is something I pulled out several years ago and following discusion on here https://www.diynot.com/diy/threads/one-i-pulled-out-yesterday.554625/ my attempt at recreating it.

Apart from it being 'untidy' and possibly very time consuming there is no reason to not do something similar using a series of crimped ring connectors and a bolt through the whole lot or butt joints and link them together with a loop of wire.
