I have EE Broadband Gigabit Fibre.
It comes with their Smart Hub 6 Plus
I connect to some SMART outdoor sockets - worked OK for a year, but they now can't connect to the network. I have an EE WiFi extender in the nearest room of the house.
Connectivity works if I bring Smart sockets inside, but no longer works where they need to be, although they are at the end of the garden and the signal is going through a wall.
Thinking of using an outdoor WiFi extender, anybody any experience with these (2.4GHz only required)
Or easier, can you still get an extender to use indoors, but has an external antenna?
Be a bit of a pain to run ethernet through the house, do any of these extenders work like EE ones --- i.e pick up a signal by WiFi and repeat it .,... they are not cable connected - but will run ethernet if need be.
