outlook 2013 relentless password prompt

Hello. Again and Again. The password prompt. Relentless and I'm getting no emails in.
Please help. Keep well.

If your password is stored and it has worked before, then it is probably a server issue. The server which verifies your password is busy or offline, so it rejects your password.

Tremendously annoying having to keep clicking and trying to get your mail. It was a constant problem with Tiscali, once Talktalk took them over and one of the many reasons why I moved to another provider.
