outside halogon light with pir detector

hi, i had an outside halogon light fitted about 2 years ago with movement detector., it worked ok until a few weeks ago. now when the light come on, it stays on regardless of any settings.
can i do anything? or do i have to get new light?

Some PIR's are set by switching supply on and off. You could look at instructions and see if yours it that type.
But normally replacement is easy option.

Turn off its supply for 5 minutes. This will reset it.
