Outside Tap - Getting a good seal on 3/4" outlet?

easy DIY job if you have the right tools and know what you are doing.
Ideally need (or borrow) an sds drill with a long drill bit to get the pipe throught the wall. (If you can do plumbing then plumb it in properly with a hose union back plate or you can get these kits with a self cutting connector like this )

I have an sds already and am pretty handy at most DIY but plumbing is where I usually fail.

The problem is the thread pitch. You might find an adapter in a plumbing shop. But you will probably need to replace the tap.
This MIGHT solve it....
