I want to tile our outside porch. On one edge of a wall there is a drain. The concrete has been set to slope down towards the drain along all three sides. What is the best way to tile around this drain? Should I just follow the slope of the concrete down to the edge? It is quite a marked slope that starts about 18 inches from the edge of the drain and I'm not sure what will happen if I tile from level and then down a slope. The tiles may be quite uneven. Thanks for your advice. Rob

you will need to treat it like a wetroom, and envolope the tiles.....

can you post some pics first....so we can see it,also what is the gradient/run?? on it ....put a spirit line at the top and then measure the gap(should be min 14mm)..
