From other posts I get the impression that the following is frowned upon..

Standard T&E used underground, even when duct work is utilised.

Is this true, or overkill, if it is ducted end to end and buried correctly is it not okay to use?

The regs in some areas are open to interpretation.

Usually, there is a coverall statement like, "materials must be chosen & installed to suit the environment they are situated in."
