Hi all,

I've just moved into my first house and have bought into a few problems. One of them is that my oven doesn't work, it did short out the entire house when I turned it on, so I replaced the element which seems to have solved this problem. However, when I turn the oven on and turn the dial up above 100-ish the fan stops spinning, bellow 100 the fan spins as normal.

Any pointers on how to fix this and what the cause might be would be much appreciated. Replacing the motor is the obvious one, but its a big job as the oven is fitted and looks like its built from the back forward, so everything in front of the motor will have to come off.

Thanks in advance

Rich

The bearing on the fan will be seizing with the heat you could try greasing it as an easier option sometime's it work's but either way you will need to access the back of it.
