I want to install 2 ovens into a tall unit which housed a large gas oven. The kitchen was installed 30 years ago and the cabinet depth is only 550mm. Assuming I can get over that hurdle the best I could achieve would be that both ovens would sit tight against a plastered brick wall.
Are there ventilation requirements for modern electric ovens?

Most fixed appliances such as ovens require clearance space at top, sides, and back, so follow what the installation instructions stipulate and all should be well. Get it wrong and you could invalidate your guarantee.

Any electric oven I have fitted required ventilation to top and bottom but not the rear as its insulated and the rear is designed with shoulders so impossible to place the rear against any surface and it allows top/ bottom ventilation.[Some are as little as 53cm deep.]
