Overbath shower problem

Hi

We have a problem in that we can't run a bath because every time the taps are turned on, the water will only come out of the shower head of the overbath shower. It has only happened recently and is very frustrating! Husband (and myself!) don't know what to do to rectify it. Does anyone have any ideas please? Thanks in advance.

The shower/ bath diverter on the top of the mixer with the hose attached - it`s jammed Some can be unscrewed , could do with a picture You could try removing the shower hose and pouring vinegar down the hole in the mixer - that might dissolve limescale if it`s the problem. Or it could be an internal spring broken
