Hi. I'm about to install some upvc weatherboard on the gable end of my house but a problem I have is, there is a very big overhead cable attached to the gable end. Does this mean the weatherboard cannot be safely installed or is it possible to get the electricity company to isolate it while the work is carried out. Thanks.

The electricity company will disconnect it, remove it, or apply temporary insulation during the works.
