P trap to solvent or other ???

I have a blanco sink I picked up, it already has a double waste kit, but I can get a p trap to fit it, normally the top of the p trap connects directly to the strainer on sink. This has an elbow (bottom right of image). I can remove the elbow and use a thread to solvent stub, but it still won’t mate up to the Pttap fittings that normally go direct to the sink. Is there an adapter available for the top fitting to solvent or something ?

The other picture is inside the elbow, it has a seam in it.

Is the threaded end on that elbow too large to fit the normal inlet od a standard 11/2" P trap? What size is it?

No on the other picture the bottom right is the elbow. The threaded end connects to the waste,

It’s the part with the tick next to it

Yes I understand that ... your post is a little confusing though ....I presume you meant to say " but I can't get a P trap to fit it"?? Where won't the trap fit, or where were you trying to get it to fit, onto that elbow but it won't fit because of ... the thread ... the end is too large/small ... that little plastic ridge won't let the flange on the top of the trap fit into it??

I noted you picked up on the other post, the blanco P trap has a different end on it, it has a flat end with a washer in between, it's not like the mcalpine that either has a recess or a flanged fitting. TBH they're crap and always end up leaking when the washer goes. Have replaced many of them.

To make this all easier I'd get rid of that blanco waste set and just buy 2 seprate strainer wastes, one with an overflow and then fit a standard 11/2 - 2 bowl sink waste and trap set.

They are Euro waste outlets, you need a euro-uk adapter to fit a standard p-trap.

That was no good for me, I needed the top of the trap to go direct to poly pipe solvent weld, so gone one of these …. Plumbing shop guy called it an Iron or something
