Hi
If 1m x 1m square pad foundations have been specified are next to a boundary, and there is no option to encroach 0.50m onto the neighbouring side, what are the options?
Would it be:
1) step the pads back onto property by 0.5m, and effectively reduce the width of the extension by 0.5m, so that all the pad is on the correct side of the boundary and no encroachment
2) step the pads back onto the property by 0.5m, again so that all the pads are on the correct side of the boundary, but use a cranked beam to allow full width of extension to be built above
3) Or are there any other options?
I appreciate a SE will be needed ultimately, but just exploring potential options first.
Thank you
G
