Pad stones

Do the pad stones off the shelf at the merchants meet c30p? I'm going to guess they do but I just want to check in case the SE as just specified something out of the ordinary.

And am I correct I should use 1:3 mix for bedding pad stones. 1 cement / 3 building sand that is.

It depends what shelf you get them from

Haha so they will be alright and meet c30p?

They may be c30, but could be c25 or c20. You will need the certificate from the supplier if its crucial to evidence.

But that designation is the concrete mix not the padstone strength.
